SX FLAMEGUARD^® INTUMESCENT ACOUSTIC SEALANT

A one component, high qualified emulsion-based sealant for fire retarding constructions. This product will transfer into a foam above +200°C and is almost odour free and is not corrosive towards metals. After application the product forms a tough rubber seal by evaporation of water from the sealant.

Between brick/brick 20mm 120 mins.
Between brick/metal 20mm 86 mins.
Between brick/timber 25mm 36 mins.
Between concrete/concrete 20mm 360 mins.
Fire rating specification: United Kingdom BS476 Part 20 1987.

USES: Suitable for indoor joints where a fire retardant seal is required to prevent the passage of smoke and vapours.

SX FLAMEGUARD^® FIRE RETARDANT SILICONE

A one part alkoxy cure silicone which has excellent unprimed adhesion to most building surfaces and is designed to be used in areas where heat and fire resistance is required.
Fire Rating:
42mm width/12mm depth 60 mins.
20mm width/25mm depth 240 mins.
50mm width/10mm depth 250 mins.
20mm width/15mm depth 320 mins.
In glazing > 65 minutes.
Fire rating specification: United Kingdom BS476 Part 22 and BS476 Part 20.

USES: Perimeter pointing and sealing of fire rated structures. Vapour seals in fire rated cladding. Sealing between curtain walling and main structure. Sealing high movement construction joints. Accommodates movement of + or - 25%.

SX FLAMEGUARD^® B1 FIRE RETARDANT FOAM

A one component fire retardant insulation and construction foam developed to make a fire retardant seal between masonry joints.

Fire rating specification: B1 quality fire foam tested to NEN6069:1997 (related to prEN1366 part 4).

USES: Sealing joints between separation walls, ceiling and floors. Joints around transits of wires and piping through walls and floors. Perimeter joints around window and door frames.
